Stream Cleanup – You Can Help Clean up Reston’s Streams and Lakes!

Want to get involved and help clean up our local stream valley? Looking for a service project or need community service hours for school? Want to make an instant impact in improving the health of our local streams? Then participating in the Stream Clean up is for you!

When? – Saturday, October 18th from 9:00am to Noon, rain or shine. Training and supplies are provided. All ages are welcome.

Where? – We clean the entire stream in Reston with groups starting at:

  • Hunters Woods Village Center
  • Glade Bank Way
  • Soapstone Drive
  • Walker Nature Education Center

Additional site along Colvin Run includes: Tall Oaks Village Center.
